There is a Grenth who hides behind the Competition Arena sign in Lion's Arch.. somewhere you're not supposed to go but you can go...

He says something like "if you try to get past I'll blow all your toys"

EDIT: I thought it was a wink from the developers that there was a Grentch waiting there but the Grentches in fact always say that. They will follow you behind the CA signpost, if you try to hide there. That's how they end up appearing there, after they have blown your Present, one of them seems to be stuck behind the CA signpost.

Can anyone tell me if i need a pvp character to get to the tomb of primeval kings? and if so/not where is it located?

Tombs is off of the mission you do after Ascension - the 6 dragons/facets - the one that sends you to Droknar's Forge. You can pretty easily miss that, even more so if you were run to Droks and never bothered with that mission

In PvE joined to dragons lair, it can only be got to once you acsend(sp?) in the desert.

Or a PvP character can get there straight away.

Here's a trick for Grentches in the cities :

If you pick up a Present, and you see Grentches coming (fast moving green dots on radar), drop the Present before they get to you. If you moved enough distance from where you picked it up, you will see them passing by you AND passing by the Present (that is on the floor), and going for where the Present actually appeared. So when the Grentches just passed you by, pick up the Present again and continue runing !

They will turn back and start racing after you, once they have reached the Present "spawning" spot, but this may give you enough time to reach one of the kids.

EDIT: this works when the Grentches are coming from the opposite direction, that is, they come facing you, in that case they ll run past behind you to where the Present spawned. This lets you get past them with the Present. However if they came from behind and you drop the present, they already have checked the spot where you picked it up, so they will destroy the Present on the floor when you drop it in that case.

There's no need to drop the present. If you see Grentches coming at you, and they haven't been to the spawn point, they will bypass you to get to the spawn point first. You better move fast though- they'll be right back on you before you know it.

Saying something like 'Hammer don't hurt 'em' in Droks loads up a NPC with a snowball there too (tho he seems to like to through anyways, but he does mention that trigger and it seems to work too)
